I saw the Matrix not too long ago. There's a whole series. She dies in the end. I was very sad. I like her costume. So do people steal your art? I notice all the professionals do thir banners across the front to protect their stuff. Thank you for favouring my Link/Lux picture. That was fun to learn how to use LUX. Do you use it? Oh, my aint let me join your club but she blocked the pictures from showing up in my message center because she felt a lot of them were too grown up. I'm fourteen just so you know. DA has a really good filtering system though so I'm blocked from seeing half your club's gallery because I'm under age. Still she wants to be with me when I come to your club. Right now I have Masha and she's already been through this. She was about fourteen when she started here too so she knows about the filters and the grown up pictures. She makes sure I look at only age appropriate stuff.
Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't know your were fourteen...tell her I didn't mean any disrespect...and I'm glad she's looking out for you in that way.
Until you commented on it, I had forgotten it was in my gallery...lol
I've seen Lux, but I haven't used it myself. I use Poser and Daz [mostly Poser, although I started out with Daz]. I would say that some of us do that [watermark or banner] across our pictures to protect them from being stolen...and if they are, whoever stole it/them can't claim the as their own work. I've seen that done on here...I just say protect what you do.
Feel free to come by and chat whenever the mood strikes you or you need help. I'll keep my eye out for new work from you
Oh, you don't have to be sorry. Sometimes people don't realize it. They just see the art. But you don't have to worry about me seeing anything too violent or mature. The filters automatically block everything for anyone under eighteen. I can't see anything at all. Sometimes certain galleries are all blocked with white boxes. My aint never thought you were disrespectful. She respects people's rights to express themselves but they end at her neice.
You should definitely try LUX. You almost can't miss. Every render comes out much better than just the regular 3Delight renderer in Daz. It's photographic. Paolo says it works exactly like a camera. Just point and shoot.
Reality is for Studio only but I heard from Masha that Poser people created their own bridge to the LUX render which is what Reality is. The Lux renderer is free but you need a bridge and that's what costs. I think Reality cost my sponsor fifty dollars. Yes, Masha confirms it. It was fifty dollars. The bridge for Poser I think is free because they made it themselves but you have to ask around. I don't use Poser. Everyone says Poser is harder to use but Studio is easy especially for kids. It's not as technical.
I don't know how long it takes to render in Poser. Using uberenvironmental lights in Studio takes about an hour for the average picture as long as you don't have too much hair, tree leaves, grass, or water. If you do then it can easily double. Lux takes longer technically because it developes like film. You can watch it get clearer and clearer. Amanda's mam says it's like a Polaroid, a picture that developes before your eyes all at once. I've never seen a polaroid but they sound cool. Lux gets clearer and clearer by the hour. Some pictures develope really well in an hour, others can take four or five if you use water, or all day, depending on how clear you want the picture to be. It's basically up to you. The results are photo-real though. If you use Studio you should get the Reality plug-in. I guess it's easy for me to say because I didn't have to pay for it.
Something that takes that long to render takes a lot of RAM [which I have], but I also use other lighting tricks and techniques post render and it gives them a totally different look [which is so cool ]...sometimes I might leave them with the Poser render look, depends on the lighting I use.
Poser really isn't that hard...ok, I admit, when I first started using Poser, I did find it hard to get use too...I left it alone for a while out of frustration. Once I tried again, I started to get the hang of it. Daz, on the other hand can be a pain in the pa-tootie...lol
